Although we were founded in March 2019, we’re by no means new to our field!
Our Managing Director, Saul Marks, began his career as a professional genealogist in January 2003, when he started carrying out traditional family tree research for private clients.
In August 2008, Saul secured a job as a regional case manager for one of the UK’s leading probate genealogy firms. Over the next 9½ years, he ran their North West office, managing a small team of staff and featured in over 30 episodes of the hit BBC series “Heir Hunters“!
At the beginning of 2019, after a short stint with another probate genealogy company (and more TV work), Saul and the team decided to step out of the shadows of other companies and establish ourselves in our own right – as Origin Probate Research!
